Training Videos

Video Access:

Once you are registered for the videos you will be able to see the videos you have access to in the drop down menu. If you can not see the drop down menu for the videos yet you are not currently granted access. Remember to send me an email with your registered username, and purchase information (point of purchase and email address of purchase). I will usually be able to get you set up within 24 hrs.

There have been specific issues reported that one video has issues stopping mid-way through. These videos are best viewed in FIREFOX browser where you will experience no issues.

How to View the Videos:

  1. The video controls are small. Below is a blown up view of the controls.  In the left hand side is the play and pause button (Green).  On the right is the volume (Orange).  Both are operational.
  2. The Full Screen option is the next button directly to the right of the volume control. You will need to click this so that you can see the video at its full size. Otherwise you will probably have a hard time reading the smaller text and quiz questions.

Note about the new “Focus Lesson” Videos: For some reason the player sometimes looks like it is continuously trying to load the video when you open the page. If this occurs, just hit the play button and the movie should start, even if the loading action does not look like it is complete.

Once you register for the site, I have to turn on the access. I am turning yours on right now but sometimes it may take as long as 24h for me to get to it. Once your access is on, and you are signed in, there will be a drop down menu under the training videos tab with all three videos accessible on individual pages.

You also need to make sure you complete the registration process by using the “contact me” for to email me with your username, email you purchased the book with, and site you purchased from.

The purpose of the new videos is to add a supplement that focuses on key concepts. Its hard to strike a balance with a book that focuses on key concepts while at the same time stays comprehensive. The new videos are an attempt to focus on only the key concepts and therefore they do not not cover every topic in the book. However these are the most important concepts for each phase and should make it easier to get started playing.

After watching these videos and playing for a while coming back and reviewing the book material will continue to add new layers of complexity as you improve your game. They are derived from the specific coaching topics that I use for lessons and will also give you a very good idea of the concepts that I cover with beginner level students in lessons.
